Supervision

I am currently taking on new supervisees looking to attain their Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work license in the state of VT or NH. I am open to supervising other mental health clinicians on a case by case basis. I have experience providing clinical supervision to fully licensed social workers looking to improve their practice and am open to working with social workers in this capacity as well. I am currently on the approved NH clinical supervisor roster. I am supervisee-centered in style, but have a wide range of approaches I pull from to guide my supervisees, including:

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapies
• Mindfulness Based Therapies
• Motivational Interviewing
• Solution-Focused Therapy
• Relational Psychotherapies

Having worked in community health, and government agencies prior to private practice, I understand the realities of the pressures front line social workers experience in agencies and community institutions. My approach is to provide support as you navigate agency or private practice work, and also to challenge you to use new tools and techniques while ensuring adherence to the highest ethical standards.

Individual Supervision –

• I require a telephone or in-person interview (about 30 minutes) to to understand your needs/experience and to determine if it might be a proper fit.
• If I am your primary supervisor (“Supervisor of Record”) I require a Business Associates Agreement with your agency employer (so that I can have access to your client records).
•  The cost is $50 per 60-minute session for every 30 hours of work performed. 
• If I am a supplementary or secondary supervisor, I require that you allow me to speak with your primary supervisor routinely to coordinate supervision plans.  The cost is $50 per 60-minute session on a supervisee-designated frequency in this arrangement.
